How Can Reiki Help?

A Reiki healing can assist physical and psychological complaints, and is also an effective way to relieve stressed states of being. Reiki healing is a natural energy available to us all, as it the universal life force. Its power comes from embodying a state of beingness, which allows your body, emotions and mind to heal themselves.

Reiki can help in a number of ways. The quality of the energy clears out stale energy or blockages and allows your system to function better. This is achieved by clearing and energising your chakras.

Physical complaints can also be assisted by the removal of stale, stuck or negative energies which result in blockages to flow. Then new and vitalising energies can be given to the area to allow it to undergo its own healing. Any mental or emotional issues related to the complaint may be identified and worked through as part of the healing process.

Also, mental and emotional issues can be addressed through working with your own intention to let go of pain, anger, guilt, fear and so on. The Reiki energy will assist your subconscious to more readily heal itself by working through and letting go, allowing the ongoing resolution of psychological issues. This is particularly useful when a person's own efforts at personal development have become stuck on an issue, or an obstacle has become too significant to overcome.

Many people have not had an experience of inner peace or calm for many years. A Reiki treatment can assist this experience so that our mind and body remembers what inner peace is like, and can learn to return to this peaceful state.

What can I expect to experience?

If you have never had a Reiki healing before, or are not familiar with the concept of healing energy, then you may just feel the warmth or tingling of the energy during the first session. However, some people may see spontaneous colours, memories, emotions or other images.

It can be useful to commit to 3 sessions as this allows a person to become familiar with a healing, and this will allow more energy to be received as they become more receptive to the process. Also, between each session the healing will continue, due to the processing of various physical or psychological blockages in order for them to be released.

Clairvoyant material that I tend to be 'given' includes:

- a symbol of your emotional issue that we can work through
- the energy of the current event that is restricting or troubling you
- seeing your own memories together with you, allowing me to guide you to process them
- picking up emotions that you are presently feeling that need to be released

Through a relaxing environment, healing energies, integrity and trust, your subconscious works with me and your-self to let go and heal what you are ready to release. That is Transformational Healing.
